Afghan Government’s Silence: Betrayal of Brotherhood and Disregard for History
Pakistan’s Sacrifices: A True Embodiment of Islamic Brotherhood
When Soviet tanks rolled into Afghan streets, when American bombs fell on Afghan mountains — who sheltered your people? Who opened homes, schools, hospitals, mosques and hearts for you?
It was Pakistan, without seeking reward, praise, or compensation.
Millions of Afghan refugees were not treated as guests but as brothers and sisters.
This was the true spirit of Islamic brotherhood — as commanded in the Qur’an:
“Indeed, the believers are but brothers. So make peace between your brothers.”
(Surah Al-Hujurat, 49:10)
And the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim. He does not oppress him, nor does he abandon him.”
(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith 2442)
Did Pakistan ever abandon Afghanistan? Never.
Then Why This Deafening Silence Today?
When India corners Pakistan diplomatically,
When Israel strikes Iran, threatening regional stability,
When Pakistan stands isolated under global pressure…
Where is Afghanistan?
Where are the words of solidarity, the voices of truth, the gestures of brotherhood?
“And if they seek help from you in religion, then you must help.”
(Surah Al-Anfal, 8:72)
Is the Afghan government ignoring this Qur’anic duty?
Choosing India Over Brotherhood?
Today, the Afghan government seeks diplomatic ties with India — a nation that opposed the Taliban at every forum, supported the Northern Alliance, and never sheltered a single Afghan refugee.
Let us remember:
“Let not the believers take disbelievers as allies instead of believers.”
(Surah Aal-e-Imran, 3:28)
Would Afghanistan abandon those who protected it — just to please those who never cared?
A Painful Question to Our Afghan Brothers:
– Who shared their bread with you?
– Who opened their schools and homes to your children?
– Who buried their own peace to protect yours?
Yet today, your silence is louder than your history.
⚖️ Prophet ﷺ Warned Against Ingratitude
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“He who does not thank people has not thanked Allah.”
(Tirmidhi, Hadith 1954)
If you cannot even thank Pakistan for its unmatched support, how will you thank Allah for His countless favors?
A Final Reminder: Tomorrow, You Might Stand Alone
If this political coldness and strategic silence continue, know this:
“When the next storm comes,
The door you once ran to might no longer open.
And the shoulder you once cried on may not be there again.”
O Afghan People!
There’s still time.
Return to the path of Islamic brotherhood.
Revive the shared history of sacrifice.
Value the hand that helped you when the world turned its back.
This is not about politics. This is about faith, loyalty, and history.
A Heartfelt Prayer
O Allah, awaken the spirit of unity among Muslim nations.
Inspire hearts with gratitude and loyalty.
And guide those who have forgotten the hands that once lifted them.
In Conclusion
Pakistan’s sacrifices are written in gold in the pages of history.
But Afghanistan’s silence will also be recorded —
And future generations will judge:
“Is the reward for goodness anything but goodness?”
(Surah Ar-Rahman, 55:60)
This message is not of hate or bitterness. It is a reminder — rooted in Islamic values, historical truth, and sincere brotherhood. Let the Afghan nation rise above geopolitics and reclaim the moral high ground.
Very true
