An Open Message to Narendra Modi – A Final Chance for Peace

Recent revelations in the book by Hopkins have brought to light disturbing evidence that the Indian government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been spending millions of dollars to destabilize Balochistan through state-sponsored terrorism. Instead of addressing the growing unrest, poverty, and separatist movements within India—such as those in Punjab, Manipur, and Assam—Modi continues to invest public funds in violence and oppression in Kashmir and covert operations in Pakistan.
Despite suffering military setbacks in recent months, particularly in June, the Indian state has persisted in its aggressive tactics: cutting off water supplies, violating ceasefire agreements, and refusing dialogue. This is not the conduct of a peace-seeking neighbor, but of a government gripped by arrogance and blinded by hatred.
While India’s own soldiers lack proper training and the nation’s poor struggle with inflation and unemployment, Modi remains obsessed with crushing dissent beyond India’s borders. The question arises: at what cost?
Modi’s History of Injustice
Narendra Modi’s political journey is marked by violence and authoritarianism. The 2002 Gujarat riots, which saw the massacre of thousands of Muslims under his watch, still haunt the global conscience. For years, major democratic nations denied him visas due to his involvement or negligence during that massacre. Today, in Indian-occupied Kashmir, the same cruelty continues—unarmed civilians are brutalized, journalists are silenced, and internet blackouts have become the norm. These are not signs of a strong democracy, but of a government that fears truth and justice.
A Final Opportunity
To Prime Minister Modi, we say this: You are now in the final stages of your political life. You have age, power, and global attention. This is your final opportunity to leave behind a legacy of peace, not bloodshed. Choose friendship over hatred. Choose dialogue over conflict. Pakistan has always extended the hand of peace on the basis of mutual respect and equality—but let it be clear: this hand is not a sign of weakness, but of maturity.
End this cycle of hatred. Focus on uplifting your own people instead of destroying your neighbors. Learn from history: empires built on cruelty eventually fall. Nations that embrace justice and mutual respect rise and endure.
A Call to World Leaders
To the global powers—the United States, Russia, China, the European Union, and the Arab world—this is the time to act. Peace in South Asia must not be sacrificed at the altar of political alliances or economic interests. Pressurize Modi’s government to stop funding terrorism, to halt the oppression in Kashmir, and to pursue diplomacy, not destruction. The silence of the world today may result in chaos tomorrow.
Conclusion
We urge Narendra Modi to reflect. This is a message from a neighbor, a statesman, and a voice for peace: Let this be your turning point. Stop investing in hatred. Begin building a future of cooperation and trust. History is watching. So is humanity.
